Olivia: the Built-in ACS Help Assistant for Your Team
New software is only useful if your team can work out how to use it on a busy shift. Olivia is the help assistant built into ACS. A support worker, a deputy or you can ask her a how-to question and get an answer without stopping to find a manual or phone someone.
What Olivia does
Olivia answers questions about how ACS works. For example:
She is there to save you time while the team gets used to ACS, and to help new starters find their feet.
What Olivia does not do
- She does not discuss individual young people. Olivia is a help assistant for the software, not a way to ask questions about a child's records.
- She does not write your records. Your staff record what happened. You review and sign off, as you would on paper.
- She does not replace training. ACS training for your team is still part of getting started.
Your control over AI
AI is optional in ACS. Each organisation has a switch to turn AI processing off for its own account, so you decide whether it is used at all.
Where AI is used by ACS, it is limited. When you contact ACS support, AI may suggest a category and draft a reply for the ticket. ACS checks and approves every reply before it is sent to you.
Why we say this plainly
Many software suppliers list AI features that sound impressive. In a children's home, what matters is what happens to the records of the young people in your care. So we describe exactly what is live: a help assistant for your team, AI suggestions on support tickets that ACS approves, and a switch that lets you keep AI away from your account.
See it for yourself
The easiest way to judge whether Olivia helps your team is to see her working. Book a 20-minute demo and we will show you.
